Rutland Lodge is located in Wellswood Conservation area, with off road parking, five minutes walk from Wellswood parade of shops and ten minutes walk down to the Marina.
The rooms are luxuriously furnished with Rest-Assured pocket/memory foam mattresses and 37” plasma tvs with cd/dvd players and surround sound.
Bathrooms are clad in marble with either roll-top baths or walk-in showers. A pressurized water system providing plenty of hot water.
A continental breakfast is served in the conservatory from 8am to 10am.
Here’s where we’re different, I live next door so Rutland is just for guests. You are most welcome to stay in the conservatory and adjacent sitting room. A fully equiped kitchen is available to guests throughout the day with a new Jura ‘bean-to-cup’ coffee machine (which is just one button - easy to operate).
Seeing as eating out is getting expensive and Tesco finest is really quite good why not pop dinner into the oven or microwave, open a much better bottle of wine, then sit in the conservatory to have dinner. Clearing up happens magically (me!).

Please use the garage spaces or park at either side of the garage.
The No.12A, B & C bus service from Torquay train station, town centre, harbourside and Babbacombe and St Marychurch stops just nearby. This bus service also links up well with other bus services that can take you further afield. However if you are bringing a car, we can also offer off road parking.
