An all-day course, run by a qualified trainer. The awarding body for this accredited qualification is the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health. This course teaches the importance of good food safety, associated food hazards, goodd hygiene practice and controls. This qualification will benefit anyone working in a situation where food is prepared, cooked and served: pubs, hotels, restaurants, care homes, schools, volunteers, fast-food outlets, contrast catering, etc. where a basic knowledge of food hygiene is required.
