The property is a spacious detached house which has been renovated to a good standard, offering spacious accommodation. There is a lovely garden, ideal for al-fresco dining. It has its own orchard and a small woodland area. The well appointed living room commands views across the bay. There is a quirky traditional wood fired hot tub. The house is situated in a wonderful location for a beach holiday, walking holiday or friends to get together.
There is a 'locals' beach just 1 mile from the property, ideal for all ages. There are good pubs and highly recommended restaurants not too far from the property. There is an RSPB nature reserve at nearby Labrador Bay (½ mile). Shaldon, with its own zoo and sandy beach, is 2 miles from the property. Torquay has much to offer, including Kent's Cavern and the Model Village. Take a boat trip across to Brixham for a lovely day out. Further along the coast is Paignton with its world famous zoo, sandy beaches, water park and steam train to the historic naval town of Dartmouth. There are many NT properties to visit in the area, such as Agatha Christie's Greenway home.
