Bay Sands Hotel is ideally situated in a quiet location yet also at the heart of the family-friendly seaside resort of Paignton. The hotel is only 80 yards (0.4 miles) to the beautiful Paignton Seafront with its award-winning sandy beach, wide promenade and iconic Victorian Pleasure Pier and Preston Sands with its colourful beach huts and quaint seaside kiosks. Paignton’s attractive fishing harbour (0.8 miles) offers daily sightseeing and ferry boat trips to Torquay and Brixham during the warmer months.

There’s outdoor fun to keep the children entertained at the Geoplay Park and Pirates Bay Adventure Golf on Paignton Green (0.5 miles); Splashdown Quaywest, an adventure water park with thrilling rides at Goodrington (1.7 miles) and Paignton Zoo, one of the country’s leading animal conservation parks and top visitor attractions (2.0 miles).  Paignton Green also hosts a number of major events each year including Torbay Air Show and Children’s Week as well as touring fun fairs and a travelling circus and Bay Sands Hotel is ideally located for these events.

All local amenities are within easy reach including a range of high street shops in the town centre (0.8 miles), amusement arcades, independently run cafes, popular bars and well-known national restaurants. Bay Sands Hotel offers excellent quality food with a wide choice of dishes on the daily menu and an optional five course evening meal after a pleasant day exploring the local area.

For your convenience if you are travelling to Paignton and the English Riviera by car or motorbike there are parking spaces at the front and rear of the hotel. Regular bus and train services are available providing fantastic easy access to Brixham, Torquay and across South Devon.
