Torbay Coast and Countryside trust was established by the local authority, Torbay Council, in 1999 with the remit of conserving some 1,200 acres of the area's wild and parklands areas. The trust, run by a small team of rangers with the help of many volunteers, now manages all these splendid natural resources with the long term in mind.

Eduation is a key role of its activities and there are a wide range of course, guided walks and special events on offer all year round such as bat watches, rockpool rambles and sustainable land management.
