There are bus stops just a 1-minute walk from the hotel with regular bus services including the very frequent Stagecoach Gold, 12, 22 and 122.  The cosmopolitan Abbey Sands complex (0.8 miles) with its wide variety of national and independent fine-dining restaurants and eateries are within a short walk. The lively Torquay harbourside (1.5 miles), Paignton Beach (1.8 miles) and Brixham town and harbour (7.1 miles) are all on the doorstep.

Well-behaved dogs and their owners are welcome at Livermead Cliff Hotel, so you can bring your four-legged friend along, whether staying overnight or visiting for the day. Dogs can stay in selected guest rooms and can be taken into some of the ground floor areas of the hotel including the bar and outside terrace area. The hotel has easy access to year-round dog-friendly beaches at Livermead Sands and Institute Beach, as well as Cockington Village and Country Park (1.4 miles) to stretch your legs.

The hotel’s idyllic waterfront location is the perfect setting for your special day. Experienced hotel staff will be on hand from the pre-wedding planning stage right through to the big day itself. The all-inclusive wedding packages have been specially designed to make your wedding day a memorable one and can include hire of Rolls Royce, a bridal suite, red carpet reception, a selection of wedding breakfast menus, canapés, finger buffets, reception drinks and evening entertainment.

The hotel is licenced for civil wedding ceremonies so you can exchange your nuptials surrounded by your friends and loved ones in one of the delightful wedding suites or the Garden Gazebo, with the stunning English Riviera scenery as a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos.  Wedding parties of up to 200 guests, as well as smaller groups, can be easily accommodated in the recently refurbished day rooms including the Riviera Suite.

Special rates are available for your guests who may wish to stay overnight at the hotel with 65 tastefully decorated bedrooms available. Many of the guest bedrooms are sea facing and have modern en-suite facilities, free WiFi access, hairdryers and flat screen TVs.
