What are the English Riviera Visitor Information Centre opening hours?

Are the boats running today?

What is the weather like?

Can I use my concession pass on the local buses?
Concession passes displaying the 'English Rose' logo can be used after 9.30 am and before 11 pm Monday to Friday and anytime weekends. Find out more here.
Can I have a bus timetable?

How do I get to Greenway House?
The current transport options are from Paignton, are to either catch the hourly Stagecoach 120 bus or Steam Train to Kingswear, then take a 5 minute ferry crossing to Dartmouth followed by the Greenway Ferry to Greenway Quay then walk uphill through the gardens. There is a golf buggy for visitors with walking difficulties. You can also drive a car, but parking must be pre-booked. Find out more here.

How far is it to Exeter Airport?
Approximately 26 mile/45 minute drive from Torquay, the airport has frequent buses into Exeter bus and train stations where connections are available, information on public transport and bus timetables can be downloaded here.
Where can I change foreign currency?
The nearest bureau to change is at the Post Office in 7-13 Union Street, located within WH Smith.
Are there any discount vouchers for the visitor attractions?
Printed vouchers are not available at the present time, but most visitor attractions offer a discount by pre-booking your tickets through their own websites. You can view our visitor attractions here.
Do I still have to reserve a table for dinner?
Pre booking is recommended for restaurants during busy weekends or bank holidays. You can view places to eat on the English Riviera here.
When are the fireworks?

Will there be fireworks on New Year's Eve?
The English Riviera doesn't have an official fireworks display on New Year's Eve but there is always plenty to see and do. Please visit our What’s On page for further details at https://www.englishriviera.co.uk/whats-on/seasonal-events/new-year
Which beaches have Blue Flag awards?
Our Blue Flag beaches are Breakwater, Broadsands, Meadfoot, Oddicombe, Preston and Abbey Sands. You can view our beaches here.
Which beaches can I take my dog onto?
Dogs are permitted year round on the following beaches: Anstey’s Cove, Torquay, Babbacombe Beach, Torquay, Beacon Cove, Torquay, Churston Cove, Brixham, Elberry Cove, Churston, Brixham, Fairy Cove, Paignton, Fishcombe Cove, Brixham, Goodrington Sands -North Sands, Paignton, Livermead Sands, Torquay, Maidencombe Beach, Torquay, Meadfoot Beach, Torquay (North eastern part), Oyster Cove, Paignton, Peaked Tor Cove, Torquay, Saltern Cove, Paignton, Shoalstone, Brixham, St Mary's Bay, Brixham. Can I purchase a parking permit?
Virtual Torbay Council Car Parking Permits are available for £28 for 4 days or £50 for 8 days, they can be purchased here or by downloading the RingGo app
What are the restrictions for the Blue Badge holders?
Blue badge holders do not currently receive free parking. Torbay Council offers yearly parking permits to persons with disabilities who are eligible. Please visit their website for further details or contact the Parking Services team on 01803 207695.
On Street Parking: Blue badge holders are permitted to park on street on a yellow line restriction (providing there is no loading ban in place at the location) for up to 3 hours ensuring that the badge and time clock are displayed correctly and no obstruction is being caused. When parking in a limited waiting bay disabled drivers are able to park for as long as required providing again that the blue badge is displayed correctly.
PLEASE NOTE: Disabled blue badge holders do not have permission to park in Bus Stops, Taxi Ranks or Loading Bays.
