About
The Marine Hotel is located in the heart of Paignton's beautiful resort area on one of the finest level and detached seafront positions in Torbay. Click here to go through to the live booking site for our very best prices www.marinehotelpaignton.co.uk.
The hotel is a traditional seaside hotel which is independently owned, there is always a homely and relaxed atmosphere. Serving traditional home cooked food and a varied menu, the choice usually suits even the most particular palate. Special dietary request are not a problem, but prior notification is always advisable.
Sit back and relax in one of the comfy chairs situated in the wrap around conservatory which enjoys panoramic views of the Bay. Enjoy a cup of coffee or indeed your favourite tipple whilst watching the world pass by.
The hotel is continually being restored throughout each January and February and is beautifully decorated throughout. There are several ground floor rooms with ramp access from the car park; there are also lower ground floor rooms with direct access to the hotel garden and Torbay park. The eight passenger lift visits each floor and many rooms enjoy level access. There are also several rooms situated directly on the seafront which benefit not only from the glorious and everchanging view of the sea but have the added bonus of an uninterrupted view of the sunrise each day.
The Marine also benefits from having it’s own car park which is free of charge to resident guests. The hotel will also accommodate small, well-behaved dogs in the lower ground floor bedrooms as these have direct access out onto the hotel patio and the park.
With various packages on offer, you can choose to book with just breakfast included and then venture out to enjoy the other culinary delights on offer in the Bay or you can choose a package which also includes a fully served 3 course meal followed by tea and coffee in the lounge and continue to enjoy the evening atmosphere of the hotel.
The English Riviera, which covers the three towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, is a resort in the truest sense of the word, attracting thousands of visitors of all ages and interests throughout the year.
There is plenty to see and do in Paignton. The hotel is a stone's throw from Paignton Cinema with the newly designed Multiplex Cinema and the many cafes, pubs and clubs in the area.
Families love Paignton. Its long sandy beaches, colourful atmosphere, paddler-friendly waters and first class Paignton attractions are the essential ingredients for a magical family holiday in Devon, with attractions in Paignton like Paignton Zoo, Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway and Quaywest Water Park, as well as some nearby popular Torquay attractions like, Babbacombe Model Village, Kents Cavern, Torre Abbey and Bygones to name a few.
During the summer months life seems to revolve around Paignton seafront which comes alive to the sound of laughter and holiday fun. But there is also another side to this distinctive seaside town, which can be found in the elegance of Oldway Mansion, the green coastline around Elberry Cove and the architecture of Palace Avenue and Paignton Cinema.
At night Paignton's seafront comes alive with illuminations and is perfect for an evening stroll. Here are just a few of the places of interest, that are only a short journey away.
Whatever time of the year you choose to visit the Marine, you are assured a very warm welcome and a holiday to remember.
