Brixham is a picturesque fishing town in Torbay, Devon.  The colourful harbour is the heart of Brixham life, which is lined with small shops, cafés, and bars offering a fantastic array of fine places to eat, relax and soak up the atmosphere of this charming, historical town.

Brixham has several beaches and coves to enjoy and explore as well as its very own open-air, seawater lido!

English Riviera is also home to the seaside towns of Torquay and Paignton which also offer fantastic amenities and sandy beaches.

Historic Dartmouth is within easy reach of Brixham, just a short drive and ferry crossing will take you to this beautiful naval town, situated on the banks of the River Dart.

Further afield, Dartmoor National Park is a must for nature lovers and those who enjoy walking and exploring.

Captains Rest has a bright and contemporary lounge-diner with an oriental twist.  A Juliet balcony with double doors lets the outside in and offers a view over the rooftops of colourful Brixham.  The living area is well equipped with a 50” Smart TV with surround sound speakers and woofer, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker system, DVD library with over 400 titles for all ages.

Open plan to the living area is a very well-equipped kitchen with washer dryer, full-size fridge freezer, built-in electric oven and gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, panini press, sandwich and waffle toaster.

The apartment has a good size shower room with a spacious walk-in shower.

Parking

Weekly parking permits are available from Torbay Council which can be purchased online at Torbay.gov website.  These permits allow parking at most council car parks throughout Torbay.  There is a short stay car park right next to the property which is convenient for stays of up to 3 hours and dropping off.  The long stay car parks are at Oxen Cove and Freshwater, which are approximately a 6-8 minute walk around the harbour.  It is a picturesque walk, so may take you a little longer whilst you take in the views and stop for an ice-cream or cold drink on the way!
