Stay in one of the oldest surviving pair of cottages in Paignton!
We have on offer throughout the year, a Grade II listed semi-detatched thatched cottage, with two bedrooms with a flat private garden. It is situated on the end of a cul de sac, with on street parking. It is close to the beach, shops, restaurants, tea rooms and pubs.   Paignton Pier and beach is a 10 minute walk away.   Please remember this cottage is 350yrs old and not built for modern heights. If you are over 6ft you need to be careful of the beams and doorways!   This property is not suitable for wheelchair access.     Chantry Cottage Built approx 1650   Accommodation: Sleeps up to 4   

Ground Floor - Sitting-room with cable TV, DVD player, CD player, Wi-Fi.   Kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, microwave, kettle, Toaster, fridge/icebox, coffee maker.   Utility cupboard with washing machine, iron and ironing board.   Bathroom with slipper bath and rain shower, WC and wash-basin.
First Floor - Bedroom 1 with double bed. Fold away single bed. Wardrobe. Linen trunk.   Interconnecting to   Bedroom 2 with double bed. Chest of drawers, hairdryer & laptop speakers.

Fresh Linen and towels provided.

Basic essentials such as tea/coffee/toilet roll/soap/washing powder are provided.   Due to it being a Thatched cottage this is a no-smoking property.
You can smoke on the patio area.   Barbecues must not be held near the property.   The parking is on street parking only and the street is the original lane from when it was farmland, so it is very narrow, just be aware when parking and driving up to the cottage. There is a strip of land outside the cottage that can be used for parking in fair weather only.
