Cranborne is a magnificent Victorian residence offering quality guest accommodation, an oasis of calm where you can escape, and relax when in Torquay on either business or pleasure.

Our accommodation at Cranborne consists of 9 en-suite guest rooms including Single, Twin, Standard Double, Superior Double and King Double rooms. 

All of our bedrooms boast clean and uncluttered decor. Complemented by quality bedding, Wi-Fi access, tea & coffee making facilities, multi-channel flat screen televisions and everything else you should need for a pleasurable stay. 

We believe starting the day with a hearty breakfast is an essential part of your stay at Cranborne. Our breakfasts are served in the elegant breakfast room where you can enjoy a Full English Breakfast along with some tasty alternatives including vegetarian options. As far as we are able, we source all our produce locally with an emphasis on quality.  Breakfast is served daily between 8.30am and 9.30am. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know before your stay.

The English Riviera is a lively resort with lots going on for visitors all year round. Torquay prides itself on its many award winning beaches, festivals, events, sports and other activities going on all year around. There is something for all tastes and ages at all times. For those who enjoy theatre and live shows the Princess Theatre is Torquay’s prime entertainment centre. It hosts tops shows and cabaret, music and comedy throughout the year. After the show walk along the Princess Pier Promenade and catch the evening sun as it sets below the hills.

Torquay International Harbour and Marina is simply stunning with many yachts and boats. Here you will also find the charter ferries which travel up and down the coast to Brixham or Dartmouth, breathe in the fresh sea air and enjoy the gorgeous views.  There are also many premium cafes, bars and restaurants here including the Michelin starred restaurant ‘The Elephant’.

Visit the Global Geopark and explore the stunning scenery, go kayaking, diving, sea-fishing or walk along the beautiful stretch of the South West Coast Path.
