About
Traditional fishermen’s cottage, with stunning sea views, enjoying a fantastic position overlooking the harbour in the town of Brixham, on the beautiful English Riviera.
This traditional fisherman’s cottage is located in the heart of Brixham, enjoying fantastic views of the harbour and out to sea. Sleeping up to five guests in three bedrooms, this delightful property would perfectly suit a holidaying family or couples looking for a romantic retreat. With the town centre, harbour and beaches all within walking distance, this home is the ideal base whether you’re looking to explore the English Riviera on land or water.
A warm welcome awaits as you enter this beautiful home, which has been styled with a shabby-chic theme throughout. The open-plan living space gives a light and airy feel, with comfortable sofas that are perfect to snuggle up on as you sit back and enjoy the views of the bay. On colder evenings, the cosy wood burner gives the room a lovely homely feel, which is perfect for relaxing in front of your favourite film. Make use of the well-equipped kitchen to rustle up a tasty dinner with the freshly caught seafood you’ve picked up during the day, before enjoying a family meal at the dining table. When eyes are feeling heavy, head upstairs to the restful bedrooms, which are on the first and second floor. Enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep before waking up to those spectacular views across the bay.
From Brixham, follow the South West Coast Path to Berry Head National Nature Reserve (1.5 miles), where you might be lucky enough to spot dolphins, harbour porpoises and grey seals. Leave the car behind and hop on the ferry, to enjoy a daytrip to the popular resort of Torquay. Slow the pace on Breakwater Beach, which is a few minutes from the cottage. It’s also a popular scuba diving spot and there are a number of local dive schools, if you fancy having a go.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
