About
Enjoying an elevated position overlooking the harbour and sea beyond, this is a fantastic bolthole for exploring the local area on foot.
Situated in a peaceful residential road, the property is just a set of steps away from bustling Brixham. This celebrated harbour boasts fishing and boating trips for exploring the coastline together with an impressive menu of freshly caught seafood all year round. With a fascinating history of pirates and smugglers, there is much to discover in this charming seaside town, and in its neighbouring coastal destinations such as Torquay and Paignton.
- Sunny private balcony with bistro table and chairs
- Stunning views over the harbour and sea beyond from open plan kitchen/lounge area
- Close to the South West coastal path and a short walk from Brixham’s shops, restaurants and cafes
- Spacious and open-plan reverse level living, spread across three levels
Arranged in a reverse-level style to benefit from the views, two bedrooms are located on the entrance level of the property. Here there is one double and one twin bedroom, each with a wardrobe, bedside tables and chests of drawers. A cloakroom is located on this floor or taking the cottage style stairs lead down from this level to the family bathroom with shower over bath, which has been recently decorated with a nautical theme. Also on this lower floor is the master suite, which features a king-size bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, chest of drawers, an en-suite shower room with WC. Both bathrooms offering underfloor heating. On the upper level, a large open-plan lounge/dining room and kitchen benefits from those stunning sea views and plenty of natural light through a full-height picture window and French doors. The kitchen contains an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge/freezer. Once prepared, enjoy meals at the large dining table before retiring to the comfortable sofas to watch the world go by in the harbour below, or enjoy a game together.
French doors open from the living room onto a sunny balcony. With a bistro-style table and chairs, this is a fantastic spot for enjoying an al fresco drink while taking in the view.
