And on cooler evenings, you can curl up in front of the flickering wood burner with the clan for a movie night with some of the best fish and chips around.

When it’s time to explore, a short ten minute stroll along the coast will bring you to Brixham’s pretty harbour. There’s so much to see from the boutique shops and art galleries to the Golden Hind replica, perfect for the little ones to discover their inner pirate.

A visit to Brixham wouldn’t be complete without sampling the fresh seafood that’s brought back to shore each day or if you love to be on the water, you can catch a day trip along the coast to nearby Torquay. Paignton, one of South Devon's best loved towns is a short drive away where you'll find long stretches of golden sand and traditional seaside charm for those bucket and spade days.
