About
Self-Catering Plus + all the benefits of a bed and breakfast.
The perfect way for you to stay away from home and enjoy the best that money can buy.
At our properties, you are not restrained by the normal regime of a hotel or bed and breakfast, you can get up when you want and eat where and when you want. If you like eating out at lunch time you can do so and then in the evening prepare yourself a snack in the shared kitchen/dining room. If you like eating at night you can snack during the day and frequent one of the many great places to eat in Paignton and the surrounding area, from pubs and cafes to restaurants. Or you may wish to order a takeaway and eat it, in the comfort of the dining room, the choice is yours.
Our accommodation makes great sense as you share the cost of the self-catering facilities but still have the privacy of your own en-suite luxury bedroom, in which to relax and enjoy a fantastic break away from home.
We think you will love it and once you have tried it will return again and again.
Park View is a Victorian red stone property built in 1899. It was a dental surgery from 1974 - 2020. We bought the property after it had been left unoccupied for 5 years and really needed some TLC.
We fully refurbished the property and opened in July 2021 to our first guests and after a great first summer we look forward to 2022.
Park View has 7 ensuite bedrooms, 6 King size and 1 Twin, all with tea and coffee making facilities.
We provide smart freeview TVs with Netflix in all rooms and also provide Virgin fibre superfast broadband.
We are located in the heart of Old Town Paignton on the edge of the beautiful Palace Avenue Park and within close proximity to The Palace Theatre.
We provide a shared kitchen/lounge area with all utensils and crockery and seating for 10, or if guests choose they can use one of the many restaurants and cafes surrounding the park. Breakfast is self-serve and we provide bread, milk, butter, jams, orange Juice, cereals, porridge etc, There is also fridge space and a cupboard for each room if guests want to bring their own food items. If a cooked breakfast is what you require then you can order from Apples and Pears Cafe on the other side of the park (Menu and phone number in kitchen area) and they will deliver to the front door.
Park View provides parking for 4/5 cars and we also have an electric car charger and bicycle store for upto 8 bikes.
