RIVIERA RETREAT a great place for groups of up to 24 people to stay in the heart of TORQUAY

This spacious self-catering townhouse on a quiet leafy street just 750m to the beach is the perfect to explore Torquay, Torbay and the English Riviera. We have hosted friends’ get-togethers, birthdays, anniversary celebrations, family gatherings, corporate retreats and training events. It's big, stylish, child and baby friendly, and your home from home. If you're looking for a great city break in the sunshine of Devon, we accept weekend bookings.

You couldn't ask for a better location (no car required although there is free parking on the street or public parking close by). Just a few minutes walking distance to the beach, Torquay marina, nightlife, bars, restaurants, shops, gym, pool & spa facilities – all the holiday amenities you need.

The ground floor is a huge space for our guests to enjoy, recently refitted to offer something more than other holiday rentals in the area.

Start with the spacious lounge with 2 dining tables & chairs, 4 large comfy sofas & extra footstools, 65” smart tv, music speakers, a cosy snug seating 8 & even a baby grand piano! 

Every generation enjoys immensely our fabulous games room with it's own bar with 2 drinks fridges. It features a 7-foot pool table, dart board, several games consoles, 65” smart tv, board games & toys for the kids.

The kitchen is fully equipped for large groups - dishwasher, 2 American stainless steel fridge freezers, 2 sinks, 2 ovens, a large ceramic hob, kettles, toasters, storage, plenty of crockery, glass-wear, kitchen utensils, pots & pans. Separate utility room with washing machine & dryer.

We can host up to 24 people (20 standard plus 4 sofa bed/foldaway beds for 4 additional people with small surcharge). Sleep well in the 10 comfortable double bedrooms (9 ensuite), some have sea views, all have a flat screen TV. There are double, king, twin and superking size beds, all with great mattresses. Baby travel cots are offered complimentary if required. In total there are 10 modern bathrooms plus a cloakroom, all newly fitted in white and chrome furniture.

All utilities, bedding, towels, entry and exit clean are all included.

The accommodation was perfect for 20 woman, separate bathrooms so not arguing over bathroom space when getting ready to go out! Pool table & Pac-Man machine went down a treat...decor was beautiful & the house was extremely clean."

"Just back from a week staying at the Riviera Retreat with the family (11 adults and 7 kids).
Wow, it was brilliant. Such a large, spacious house, that was very clean and had everything we needed, from cork screws to tumble dryers. Games room was welcomed by all...location was perfect, with just a short walk to Torre Abbey and the sea front. We all had an amazing time, and would love to return."

"Wonderful location, short walk to Torre Abbey, through the gardens to seafront spot on.
I had forgotten how nice Torquay is, everything walkable, the harbour, the marina and the beach. Parking was not a problem, plenty of spaces very near in the street.

The house was able to accommodate us all, all but one room ensuite, everyone happy, lots of sea views. I almost forgot to mention the kitchen - fully equipped, seemed double everything so no falling over each other while making a cuppa or toast. 

I would recommend Riviera Retreat as the perfect house for a big group get together, it ticks all the righr boxes."
