We are a small, family-friendly, licensed Guest House with family rooms for up to 5.

We have 8 en-suite bedrooms.  One bedroom sleeps families of up to 5 (2 adults and 3 children). We also have a family room for up to 4 (2 adults and 2 children).  Our twin room has a double bed and a single bed, so is available as a family room for up to 3 (2 adults and 1 child).  For those that don’t have children with them we have a superior double, 2 standard doubles and 2 singles.  All our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, clock radio, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.

We have a well stocked bar including a selection of Real Ales from Paignton’s local brewery, Bays Brewery. We also sell their Windfall Cider made from 100% West Country apples.

You are more than welcome to relax in our TV lounge with its comfy seating.  There are also plenty of toys and games for those rare wet days, or to keep the children amused whilst you relax in the bar.

We have a number of cots and baby listening monitors for your convenience.

Guests are welcome to enjoy our gardens, including our fantastic deck, where you can relax and take in the peace & quiet whilst you have a pot of tea or something stronger!

There are a large number of restaurants in Paignton and Goodrington which are only a 10–15 minute walk away.  If you prefer not to eat out we have a number of take away menus available and we are happy for guests to use our dining room or garden.  We will supply crockery and cutlery and happily serve you with drinks from our bar!

There is so much to see and do in and around Paignton.  We are a mere 10 minute walk from 2 great beaches, Paignton harbour and Paignton town centre.

The beach and green with its’ free Geo Play Park is always popular with families and there is usually something happening all through the summer.  The seafront is also where you will find a fantastic crazy golf course, a cinema and the pier.

Dartmouth Steam Railway and Torbay Leisure Centre are also just a short walk from us.  The Palace Theatre in Paignton has a variety of shows throughout the year from drama to music and tribute bands.  Paignton Zoo is a 5 minute drive away and well worth a visit. 

Goodrington beach is only a 10 minute walk away where you will find Quaywest Water Park and many other water attractions.  The stunning South West Coast path can be joined here allowing you to walk through woods and along cliff tops to a variety of local beaches or even all the way to Brixham. 

Brixham is a 10 minute drive away. Brixham is the quintessential English harbour and is also home to The Golden Hind, a full sized replica of one of the most iconic ships from the age of exploration.

What is better than walking by the sea and sampling food from it as you go? There are several places serving local seafood throughout The English Riviera.  The nearest to us are Cantina in Goodrington and TJ’s in Paignton harbour, both are well worth a visit.

Torquay’s lively harbour, with its restaurants, cafes and bars providing a continental feel, is only 10 minutes away by car.

The Princess Theatre in Torquay has a number of great shows throughout the year including West End shows.

Babbacombe has 4 great attractions including the Model Village, Bygones, the Cliff Railway and Kents Cavern. It also has a theatre with a traditional summer seaside show.

The English Riviera has something for everyone, from the young person to the not so young and we are sure that we have the accommodation that suits your needs.
