Abbeyfield B&B is a beautiful place to stay, right in the heart of Torquay.

At breakfast you can feast on two types of homemade bread, a wide selection of cooked breakfasts, fruit salad, freshly baked pastries, cereals, yoghurt and fruit juice. We also have a bean-to-cup coffee machine where our guests can help themselves to a selection of freshly ground coffees and Taylors of Harrogate teas – why not finish your meal with a vanilla latte or salted caramel cappuccino?!

Abbeyfield was built in 1860 and has high ceilings and large windows. Several rooms feature the original wooden floorboards and you'll find William Morris wallpaper and lots of original art throughout the B&B. There's a walled south-facing garden specifically for our guests' use with a small fish pond, an arbour and plenty of places to sit and enjoy Torquay's mild climate and perhaps a drink or a cup of coffee.

Inside there's a comfortable guest lounge with a wood burner where you can relax by the fire on colder days. We are also licensed and have a small bar, which we can open on request.

There's free parking for every room in our easily accessible level car park with state-of-the-art CCTV newly installed in 2022.

Each of our five rooms is equipped with a fridge stocked with filtered water and fresh milk, a kettle and Lavazza coffee machine with compostable pods, a smart TV or TVs and a selection of teas, coffee bags, hot chocolate and biscuits. There is of course free and fast Wi-Fi along with an extensive range of quality toiletries.
