Located in a tree-lined avenue, the Daylesford is a few minutes walk from the beach and conference centre and easy walking distance from town. The elegant surroundings include a quiet lounge with books and magazines where guests can relax. The dining room continues the sphere of elegance as a place to enjoy the excellent breakfast, freshly prepared to order. Guest rooms include a junior suite with lounge, a triple, doubles and a single. All rooms are en-suite.
Enjoy gastronomic Torquay. Personal recommendations include The Elephant Restaurant & Brasserie: Michelin Star Three Rosettes, Number 7 for supremely good seafood, Orange Tree and the Hole in the Wall. Prezzo – Torquay’s new grand café restaurant - all great places to eat.

We had a very pleasurable stay at the Daylesford. Our host, Jessie, was so lovely and welcoming! The bedroom was pretty and clean and the hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet area and within a short stroll from the town. The full English breakfast was superb with plenty of toast and jam (thanks for the two sausages Jessie!).Would definately recommend!
Jess was a lovely host. Made us feel very welcome. Through out the stay. The Breakfast was lovely. The room was ok.Good luck to you Jess for the future keep up with the good work. We will be back in the future, and use this Hotel. when we visit Torquay next time.
