Paignton "A Nice Place to Be by The Sea!" In the heart of the English Riviera between Torquay and Brixham with its beautiful sandy beaches, Paignton is the perfect base for your visit to Devon. So, if you’re looking for clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation, with a highly rated breakfast to set you up for the day. The Ratcliffe is the place for you! with our central location just a short walk from the main beach, shops and both the rail and bus stations. If you are staying with us for a few days or a couple of weeks, we are positive you will enjoy your stay in Torbay.
All rooms are exceptionally clean and well presented with free view TV and tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities.
Highly recommended full English breakfast, served from 8.30am to 9.00am.
Our Stair lift to the 1st floor was installed to enable guests at our bed and breakfast with mobility problems, to reach bedrooms 1,2 and 5 on the first floor only having to climb a maximum of 4 stairs. We offer B&B competitively priced, catering for singles, couples and families. Whether on holiday or working in the area.
The Ratcliffe is in the heart of Paignton which has long sandy beaches, first class attractions, and a seafront with amusements, pier, family pubs and cafes, a promenade and much much more. The town centre along with both the bus and train station is just a few minutes walk away.
The Ratcliffe is only 321 meters from the train station just 4 minutes walk (with no Hills) and the same distance from the seafront .With the nearest public house just 80 meters from door to door where live sports and good food are always available.
