Amy and Richard would like to welcome you to The Rosewood our family home and boutique bed and breakfast here in the heart of the beautiful English Riviera in Torquay. We love living here and hope you will enjoy exploring and tasting some of what Devon has to offer, with only a few minutes walk to the beach what's not to love, so come and escape to the seaside in our beautiful Victorian home. We are also very close to Torre Abbey museum & gardens,crazy golf, pitch & putt, bowls, the Princess Theatre and a choice of restaurants and bars.
Our stylish guest house situated on what was once millionaires row is now the perfect base for exploring all the English Riviera has to offer, the town centre, beach, harbour and restaurants are all within walking distance, if you are here on business we are only a few minute walk away from the Riviera International Conference Centre.
At The Rosewood we are passionate about breakfast, served from 8.30-9.30am in our dining room. A simple, calm. light filled room with many original Victorian elements add to the charm making this a cosy informal place to enjoy a slow start to your day, which is located on our Ground Floor.
The breakfast itself is fresh and locally sourced when possible. All our cooked breakfasts are made fresh and to order. Our breakfast buffet has fresh croissants, preserves and quality mueslis and granola, fresh fruit and a choice of bread ready for tasting.
We are able to cater to most dietary requirements although please let us know in advance in case we need to pick up something extra special for you. We also received a 5* food hygiene rating on our most recents Food Standard's Agency inspection
We have an assortment of bedrooms, two catering for familes.
DELUXE FAMILY/TWIN ROOM our beautiful deluxe family room can accommodate a family of 4 on our first floor. It features complimentary wifi, a full sized hairdryer, a 32inch flat screen tv, a mini fridge with fresh milk, 1 luxury double bed with a feather duck down duvet, 2 separate single beds and a fully stocked hospitality tray. Iron and ironing board is available on request. We take children from age 4years to 12years. This room is also available as a Double or Twin Room.
FAMILY/TWIN ROOM our family room can accommodate a family of 4 on our second floor featuring a pretty street view, tastefully decorated to a modern standard. It features complimentary wifi, a hairdryer, a flat screen tv, 1 luxury double bed with an extra comfy duvet, 2 separate single beds and the important bit when all the family are together extra large storage facilities for all the family. Iron and ironing board is available on request. This room is also available as a Double or Twin Room.
