The English Riviera is an award-winning seaside resort with 20 top beaches; 22 miles of breath-taking coastline including the South West Coast Path; an abundance of fine-dining restaurants, family-run cafes and takeaways and indoor and outdoor visitor attractions, with many open all year round. The neighbouring village of Cockington (1.5 miles) in Torquay is a must-see attraction with rose-filled gardens, thatched roof quaint cottages with the country park and manor house.
