Full of traditional charm and fine period features, the TLH Victoria Hotel is believed to be Torquay’s first purpose built hotel, dating from 1867. The elegant 3 star hotel is part of hotel group, TLH Leisure Resort, and is situated in the heart of Torquay on the beautiful English Riviera. TLH The Victoria Hotel has a long history of growth and change. The name itself has been shortened from the original name of “The Victoria and Albert Hotel”, created shortly after Prince Albert’s death in 1861. In 1978 the Victoria became the second hotel of the TLH group.

With just a short 5 minute walk from the seafront, this traditional Victorian hotel offers easy access to Torquay harbour, the town centre and Torre Abbey Sands, the beach known for its amazing sand carvings.

The TLH Victoria has a relaxed and restful atmosphere with 99 comfortable bedrooms spread over 3 floors. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, along with a TV, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. All hotel rooms have lift access, free Wi-Fi and free parking is also included. There are a number of family rooms available and some interconnecting double and bunk-bed rooms, making it a great choice for families with teenagers. The TLH Victoria Hotel is particularly popular with couples and dancers, as we have two magnificent ballrooms, the Warwick and the Richmond, along with a year round calendar of dance breaks and holidays. There are also 16 well equipped self-catering apartments, if you prefer the freedom of eating  when you please.

Food & drink are essential to a good holiday, so all of our guests can enjoy a wide choice of venues throughout the Victoria Hotel and across the whole TLH Leisure Resort. The Victoria’s elegant restaurant has a striking period feature with its original glass-domed roof. Here you can enjoy a buffet-style, English or continental breakfast and your table d’hôte evening meal. There are a la carte choices on each course and a salad bar and hot buffet.

The Windsor Bar is a small and intimate bar, perfect for pre-dinner drinks. It’s cosy in the winter and lovely in the summer months with French windows opening on to a sunny south-facing terrace. Afternoon tea is available in the bright conservatory making it the perfect place to relax and escape from your busy day-to-day lifestyle.

The Alberts Bar is the friendly local pub at TLH. With a variety of pub snacks, tasty food and daily specials, it’s the ideal location for a family meal. Plus there's a great choice of live entertainment in Alberts, from sports TV to Karaoke and live music, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
