The Torcroft is an award-winning Bed & Breakfast in a remarkable setting in Torquay, which is currently rated 4th out of 148 B & B's on TripAdvisor and 9.6 on Booking.com. For every traveller it is always a delight to find a hotel which not only meets your expectations, but exceeds them. Discover the charm and warmth of this lovely haven on the English Riviera. Located 5 minutes walk from the The Bay and 10 minutes from the harbour, Princess Theatre and Torquay seaside town.
Rooms at The Torcroft are decorated in a contemporary style to a high standard, with an emphasis on quality, luxury and comfort. Guests tell us that that they enjoyed an excellent night’s sleep, perhaps due in part to our exclusive quiet location and our wonderful beds. All our modern en-suite bathrooms offer beautiful toiletries supplied by St Kitts Herbery, based in Cornwall. Refreshment are replenished daily, with locally sourced products you'd expect in a top establishment, including Yorkshire Tea, chilled Devon water, milk pods to reduce our plastic use and biscuits baked in-house.
Breakfast at The Torcroft will set you up well for the day ahead. From the buffet you can choose from a selection of homemade granola, museli, organic yoghurt, honey, morning scrolls, seasonal fruits and delicious jams. From the kitchen we offer some cooked delights to keep you going, including our local suasages, bacon and free range eggs served how you like them. Breakfast is served from 08:30 - 09:30 (10:00 at weekends)
Sample menu includes; full English breakfast, wild mushroom toastsham and fried eggs, grilled kippers, brown butter and parsley, porridge with Earl Grey stewed prunes, toasted walnuts and melted butter and ham and cheese omelette.
