Welcome to the Tyndale Boutique B&B, an AA 5 Star Silver-Awarded Boutique Bed and Breakfast. feel. Your hosts David and Tonny are a same sex couple and welcomes the LGBTQ+ community. Our bedrooms are elegant and stylish. Each of our four bedrooms are individually designed and decorated with all the comforts of a luxury small hotel but retaining an intimate, homely feel.

About Us:

With just 4 rooms you will receive a warm and friendly personal service in a homely atmosphere. We offer exceptional accommodation and service, to ensure our guests feel they are ‘home from home’. We offer a welcoming drink along with homemade cake for all our guests upon arrival and will try our best to make sure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. We can make taxi and table reservations for you, but please give us plenty of notice as our excellent Torquay restaurants do get fully booked up regularly.

Our Rooms:

Our rooms do vary in size but all have the same luxury features, such as air-condtioning, flat screen Smart TVs with movies-on-demand and Netlfix, iPads, silent fridges (with Scottish spring water and fresh milk), The White Company toiletries, hairdryers, a wide range of Clipper teas and coffees.

Room 1 is our Superior Room with a King Size bed and a large en-suite. This room is located on the ground floor and is ideal for guests that would prefer to not use the stairs. Unfortunately, the Tyndale does not have a wheelchair accessible entrance.

Room 2 is our Classic Room. This is our smallest room but you'll still find a King Size bed, luxurious Chenille headboard, leather Queen Anne armchair and all the luxurious features mentioned above. (Located on the first floor)

Room 3 is our Luxury Room. One of our two largest rooms, this room has a Super-King bed, two seater sofa and plenty of storage spage. With a roomy en-suite and a large shower cubicle. (Located on the first floor)

and finally, Room 4 is our Deluxe Room, the other of our two largest rooms. Room 4 has a Super-King bed, two Queen Anne leather arm chairs and a spacious en-suite with large shower enclosure. (Located on the first floor)

Location:

The Tyndale is a lovely flat 10 minute walk to the sea front. If you take the public footpath through Torre Abbey then you'll find Abbey Sands Crescent a 15 minute flat walk. This is a lovely spot to relax with a drink and a bite to eat to watch the world go by. The added bonus of our parking area means that some guests choose to leave their cars with us for their entire stay whereby others use it as a perfect means to explore wider afiled, knowing that there's a guaranteed space when they return.

If you are travelling by rail, we’re only about half a mile from both Torre railway station and Torquay railway stations (10 minutes walk).

Breakfasts:

Our Award Winning breakfasts are cooked to order and we are proud to source our products locally with free range eggs from a local farm and our bacon and sausage from Prentice Butchers, just up the road from us.
