We’ve lived by the sea for over 20 years. And when you live by the sea, you have a lot of visitors! For years we’ve loved hosting friends and family in our home, and now we extend that welcome to you.

We know that sometimes your dream getaway wouldn't be complete without your canine companion. We welcome small (under 20kg) doggies. Just like for every guest, there's a little something for every dog here at Villa Marina, whether they're the perfect companion for a day of exploring Torquay, or more of a pampered pooch that would just love lazing in our sunny south facing garden with you.

The Villa

This handsome Victorian Villa was originally built as a family home in the 1860s. Featuring characteristic large airy rooms and fashionable high ceilings with decorative mouldings. Each room has large feature windows which flood the rooms with natural daylight, but which have been sympathetically double glazed for your comfort.

Villa Marina Guest House stands proudly within its own south facing garden where you might enjoy a leisurely cream tea or summer evening drink. We are just minutes walk from both Torre and Torquay train stations and have plenty of guest parking available. It is just a short, level walk to Torquay seafront, Torquay harbour, shops and restaurants and is a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding countryside, moorland or plethora of visitor attractions, or to just breathe in the stunning beauty of the South Devon coastline.

We use the finest locally sourced ingredients where possible for your breakfasts, which are chosen from our extensive menu and cooked freshly to order.

We are a proud member of the SME Climate Hub, a global initiative that empowers small to medium sized companies to take climate action and build more resilient businesses. Through the SME Climate Hub, we commit to lowering our impact on the environment through authentic action, halving our emissions by 2030. In making the commitment, we have joined the United Nations Race to Zero campaign. We have also been recognised as a Level 1 Travel Sustainable accommodation for demonstrating our commitment to implementing impactful sustainability practices.

We welcome walkers taking part in the English Riviera Walking Festival and can offer:

* Drying room / boot cleaning facilities
* Garage storage available for walking equipment, including boot cleaning equipment and tumble dryer
