A warm welcome awaits you at the Chelston Manor. This family run pub prides itself on offering good quality food and great service. The Chelston Manor pub is an ideal choice, whether you are planning a delicious meal out, a relaxing drink or meeting up with family and friends. The pub is family and dog friendly, although it is asked that children and dogs remain with you at your table when visiting. Offering a fantastic bar and restaurant area, several functions rooms to choose from for private parties and, quite possibly, one of the best beer gardens in the surrounding area this is a gem of a place that should be on everyone’s visit list.
The Chelston Manor is a charming 17th Century house of great character. Set in its own grounds, it is reputed to be one of the oldest in Torquay. Originally thatched, many of the unique features of the building remain today. Whilst the policy of constant improvement has resulted in some alterations, the interior of the property retains many reminders of its history. The building has seen many uses in its history, from manor house to hotel to the public house it is today. Whilst the Chelston Manor is no longer a hotel there is a spacious holiday apartment situated in the grounds offering everything you could need whilst on holiday. The area of Chelston itself is a beautiful part of Torquay and the Chelston Manor is situated in the heart of this conservation area just a 10 minute walk to the seafront and train station.
