About Ella's (formerly known as Chocella)

You can expect to find in Ella’s Chocolate House & Tea Rooms a warm and friendly welcome and a relaxed atmosphere. Our signature is our Vintage Cream Tea with our homemade scones and excellent quality clotted cream and jams to choose from. We have a variety of homemade cakes, bakes, chocolates, tea’s, coffee, sweets treats and our superb hot chocolate are just a few things you that’s in store for you. Our chocolate soup has got to be sampled. Chocolate Toasties are our latest addition to the menu and our super Strawberry Hot Chocolate!

We also have a number of savoury items (not just chocolate) also to choose from - artisan sandwiches, toasties, cheese scones. There are also a number of Afternoon Tea's available from: - English Riveria Afternoon Tea, Devonshire, Chocolate or the Devonshire Deluxe. 

The jewel in Ella's crown is Chocella's chocolate cabinet that holds all of our hand crafted chocolates made on the premises. These make for great gifts to take home, special treats for any occasion or simply have one or a plate to have with your drinks.

If you haven’t yet visited Brixham, it is a fabulous fishing village on the English Riviera. It is famed for landing some of the finest fish in the UK and is the largest port in England. It is quite a magical place. You can’t quite put your finger on it, but it has a mystery and depth to it which belies it’s size. Although it only has a population of around 17,000, around three quarters of a million people visit it annually. 

Chocolate is our world and we welcome you into our Emporium to try it for yourself.  

We are situated in Fore Street in the centre of Brixham and our love and appreciation of chocolate know's no bounds. We will try a number of different recipies and quirky ideas that you can watch us work and observe, whilst you enjoy your time in Ella's.
