About
The Blue Walnut is a relaxing, fully licensed Café Bar & Cinema with a secret private garden at the rear. We host regular Live Music, Performance Poetry, Comedy and other evenings events and feature selected Art by local artists on the walls.

Within The Blue Walnut is a 23 seat cinema which hosts five monthly film clubs.
The cinema and venue is available for private bookings and parties. Please contact us by email, telephone or pop in in person to discuss your requirements in detail.

This is a unique cafe bar, cinema and cheese shop. With a chilled vibe, quality food, a varied programme of events including film clubs, poetry evenings, open mic and vinyl nights - there is something for everyone. The tapas are to die for too. Vegans catered for too!
Best cheese shop in town. And their coffee and lunch menu is without doubt my favourite around. Well worth the visit.
This place is a real gem! A charming café, restaurant with excellent food cooked on the premises, serving delicious snacks, homemade cakes and meals, bar, cinema and centre of culture.
The owners are friendly and welcoming.
