Older children will love the thrills of the flumes at Quaywest Waterpark in Paignton, And all the family can enjoy a more genteel trip in a swan boat on the lake at Goodrington.

Relaxing with a drink beside the pub’s log fire or with a view of the sea may be the ultimate way to unwind. But what if you’re feeling active? We’re a dog-friendly place, so bring man’s best friend and walk the spectacular coast path together. Along the way, you’ll find lots of dog-friendly restaurants and cafes for a refuel. If cycling is your thing, hire a bike and helmet at the Torbay Velopark and see if you can beat your fastest time around the one-mile track. You can even hire kids’ bikes here – and the wide, safe, and flat track is the perfect place to master two-wheel cycling.
