About
The Real Crime Museum is a fascinating attraction based on the harbour in Torquay. If you are interested in crime, you will love the exhibits they have on show. They include gangsters, bank robberies, forensics, police memorabilia, prison service memorabilia (including a real prison cell from HMP Dorchester), drug smuggling, football violence, serial killers, the Princess Diana inquest, The largest collection of CHARLES BRONSON artwork in the WORLD plus much, much more including a cinema, the Acid Bath Killer, poisoners etc etc
The museum is set in the old underground bunkers used in WW11. It is a fantastic insight into the world of crime where you will be able to see things you will NEVER see anywhere else.
Everybody that visits the crime museum leaves feeling exhilarated and fascinated by their experience.
Customer Reviews:
Stumbled across this amazing museum. I'm so glad I did. It was all very well designed, informative and engaging. I kept going back to re-read narratives. Loved Mr Bronson's paintings and artwork. Some made me giggle. Great sense of humour. Would love to own one of these, from a man who has spent most of his time inside due to the brutality of authorities. Well done for creating this gem.
A decent couple of hours spent looking round. Clearly the owner has a passion for the subject and a biased view of certain criminals and the museum reflects that. Go with an open mind and you might learn something. Its very atmospheric and we got a very warm welcome.
Full of interesting exhibits. Well worth the entrance fee. Dogs allowed.
We are back fully open now after a huge renovation and open all year round.
