About
The Western Lady Ferry Service has been operating an excellent ferry service between Torquay and Brixham for over 75 years.
The 30 minute ferry ride across the Bay to Brixham and returning to Torquay is a stress-free, delightful way to view Torbay from the sea, especially when the sun is shining!
Under the proud umbrella of Dartmouth Steam Railway & River Boat Company you can be assured of receiving the best service at the best price for your ferry across The Bay. We look after our valued passengers with many returning to us every year.
Look out for our white and blue boats the Dart Venturer and Dittisham Princess.
The purpose built Dart Venturer and Dittisham Princess are approx. (D.V) 23.5 Metres in length (D.P) 19.2 Metres in length and although nearly half the size of our old Fairmile vessels they can actually accommodate (D.V) 250 passengers and the (D.P) 150 passengers.
Daily service - weather dependent (check with our Torquay office on the day of travel on 01803 293797).
TORQUAY - We embark and disembark from DEPARTURE POINT E (opposite Below Decks).
BRIXHAM - We embark and disembark from NEW PIER (the quay with the toilet block and viewing platform).
NOTE: Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding the vessel.
