Car Parking

Torbay Council operate 37 car parks across Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, providing over 7,500 spaces with the majority of our car parks using the pay and display system.

• All the car parks and on street parking in Torbay can be paid for by using RingGo. This lets you pay for parking by using your mobile phone, either by downloading the app before your visit or by calling the RingGo number displayed on the pay machines. By entering the number of the car park, which can be found by each pay machine, into the app or by calling the RingGo number you will be able to start and stop your parking. You can also purchase a 4 day and 8 day car park session using this system. The RingGo app is available on Apple and Android and more information on how to use the app and how to purchase the longer sessions can be found on the Torbay Council website.
• If you do not have a mobile phone you can still pay for parking using a contactless card at some machines or by using cash.

Virtual permits can be purchased via their website, they not have to be ordered and can be applied for at any time.  There are 10 machines across the bay where the four and eight day permits can be purchased and also via the pay by mobile facility.

DISABLED PARKING

Car Parking:

Blue badge holders do not currently receive free parking.  Torbay Council offer yearly parking permits to persons with disabilities who are eligible. Please visit their website at https://www.torbay.gov.uk/parking/disabled-parking/  for further details or contact the Parking Services team on 01803 207653.

On Street Parking:

Blue badge holders are permitted to park on street on a yellow line restriction (providing there is no loading ban in place at the location) for up to 3 hours ensuring that the badge and time clock are displayed correctly and no obstruction is being caused.  When parking in a limited waiting bay disabled drivers are able to park for as long as required providing again that the blue badge is displayed correctly.

PLEASE NOTE: Disabled blue badge holders do not have permission to park in Bus Stops, Taxi Ranks or Loading Bays.

CAMPER VAN AND MOTOR HOME PARKING:

Vehicles must be parked within the bays and overnight stays are not permitted, further information on restrictions can be found on Torbay Council's website here.

Crossways Shopping Centre:

Occombe Farm:
The main car-park is on the same level as the upper floor of the Visitor Centre.
