About
This wonderful new play celebrates the contribution the Windrush community made in rebuilding the country. Invited here after the Second World War with the promise of what seemed like a prosperous opportunity to contribute and play their part in the recovery of the nation, many were met with opposition and discrimination. This family friendly play raises many thought-provoking issues surrounding immigration and celebrates the grit and determination that generations showed to make their way and become part of the UK's rich and diverse heritage. Performances followed by Q&A.
