NEW FOR 2024 - Torquay's first Christmas Market at the Historical Torre Abbey as part of the Bay of Lights. This 4 week long event brings some of the best producers and local brands from across South Devon together for a magical Christmas market in the historic Torre Abbey.
Expect great local food traders, mulled wine, fun family activities and two atmospheric Christmas bars offering the best of the South West! Local crafts and gifts on sale to help you with your Christmas shopping. Join us in making this event a huge success for The Bay.
The market will offer an array of holiday treats, unique gifts, artisanal crafts as well as a tempting selection of food and drink. It’s the perfect place to enjoy some Christmas shopping and to find the perfect gift for your loved ones while soaking up the festive atmosphere.
There will be over 20 local stalls and food traders and fun family activities. There will also be two large, covered areas. Here you can warm up with a mulled beverage or local beer while tucking into your food and enjoying the light projection show.

The market is being delivered by Exeter Bar Co with support from Torbay Council and Torre Abbey.
It will be open every day from 29 November until 22 December (opening times vary). Entry to the market is free and open to all.
Also at Torre Abbey from the 29th November to the 2nd January will be the Alive with Light projection show as part of the Bay of Lights. Torre Abbey will be turned into a canvas of light - making the perfect backdrop for these Christmas Markets.
