About
Julia and Iain await you with a warm and friendly welcome at Blue Waters Lodge. This very popular bed and breakfast is licensed and has a Four-Star Silver award. It is conveniently situated within easy strolling distance of the seafront, local shops and range of high-quality entertainment yet it is the ideal base to relax and soak up the seaside atmosphere in tranquil surroundings. It is a great choice for cycling, walking the South Devon Coast Path or exploring the English Riviera’s stunning landscape, a designated UNESCO Global Geopark.
Blue Waters Lodge B&B is also within a few minutes level walking distance to the town’s train & bus stations. We offer a free collection and drop off service for Paignton Train Station for your convenience and we can also organise taxi and theatre bookings.
We have a range of 7 delightfully light and spacious guest bedrooms including a Superior Double, a Luxury Four Poster and a family suite. All the guest rooms are designed to a high standard, having been recently refurbished, with contemporary décor and furnishings. All rooms are fully-equipped with Freeview Flat screen TVs and DVDs; complimentary toiletries, beverages and snacks; a hairdryer and additional pillows and blankets to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
We are often less expensive than a Travelodge AND we provide a delicious, full English breakfast. Our renowned, hearty breakfast is served between 8.00 & 9.00am in our cosy dining room which caters for individuals, couples and family groups. We are able to cater for Gluten and Wheat intolerance, Dairy Free, Diabetics and Vegetarian diets. Please advise us of your requirements at the time of booking.
Blue Waters Lodge is the perfect location from which you can explore the beautiful area of Torquay, Paignton, Brixham, which is known as the English Riviera. Paignton and Preston sea front promenades, Blue Flag beaches and many attractions including the charming working harbour, iconic Victorian pleasure pier, multiplex cinema and award-winning theatre are all within a level strolling distance of Blue Waters Lodge. There are numerous cafes, tearooms and restaurants close by that cater for all tastes and budgets and serve high-quality Devon produce. Of course, a trip to the English Riviera isn’t complete without sampling a delicious Devon Cream Tea with homemade jam and clotted cream or tasting the finest quality seafood caught in the local waters of England’s Seafood Coast and sold at nearby Brixham Fish Market.
After a satisfying day exploring some of Devon’s Beautiful Bay and enjoying yourself, a nice cold drink from our licensed bar is the perfect way to unwind. You may wish to relax in our lounge or sit outside in our sunny, patio garden and soak up the peaceful atmosphere.
We are certainly a cut above the rest as we have our very own hair salon on the premises. Julia is a fully qualified experienced stylist with several years of experience, a qualified Nail Technician and other beauty service, so why not pamper yourself with a treatment whilst you are on holiday. Have your hair styled for an evening out or for a special occasion. Our salon prices are available on request.
Are you visiting on a special occasion? Let us know if you would like flowers or wine arranged for your room, we can provide that little extra special touch to make your stay on the English Riviera a very memorable one.
Whether you’re looking for a short getaway or a longer break, please phone direct to check for availability. We look forward to your visit.
