About

**Please visit our website to check on availability, guaranteed cheapest prices and greatest flexibility when you book with us directly **

Stunning Cockington Village is a 3/4 mile, delightful level walk from the seafront and roughly equidistant between Torquay & Paignton. Surrounded by 450 acres of Country Park, this preserved village was listed in the Doosmday book and is a popular visiter attraction. There's a village pub, Cockington Court manor house, ancient church, visitor centre, cafes, crafts studios and miles of country trails for walking or cycling. It is well placed to enjoy all the English Riviera and South Devon has to offer but in a wonderful rural setting.

Our luxury, 5 star self catering cottage, Mallock Cottage, has been recently renovated and stylishly decorated with holiday maker's in mind. Attached to Lanscombe House, the original dower house to Cockington Court, each property has been tastefully furnished with modern kitchens and bathrooms, central heating and outdoor areas to soak up the sun.

2 bedroom cottage

Open most of the year with a delightful log burner for the colder months. A private, sunny deck provides peace and relaxation to enjoy our gorgeous South Devon climate.

Small breed dog friendly

Older children 10+

Off road, free parking.

Free Wifi and Netflix

Mallock Cottage has 2 bedrooms and is perfect for two couples or families with older children. Bedroom 1 has a king sized bed, tv and en-suite shower room. A door leads out to the sunny deck with lovely views over a private garden. Bedroom 2 has twin beds (or Superking bed), tv & lovely village views. A seperate family bathroom has a  'P' -shaped bath with shower over.

Downstairs there is a cosy lounge with log burner, comfortable seating,  a ‘smart’ tv and wifi. The modern and well appointed kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine with adjoining sunny conservatory & dining area. The property enjoys gas central heating with additional underfloor heating to the conservatory, kitchen and upstairs bathrooms. The private, sunny deck can also be accessed via steps from the lounge door and is complete with garden furniture, parasol and a BBQ area. The downstairs loo is also handy for less able folks.

See our website for more information and photos of our cottages, Cockington village and a whole lot of other useful information. Thank you.
