Cove Cottage is 0.5 miles from the picturesque Babbacombe Downs with plenty of traditional pubs with pretty floral displays and beer gardens, family-run cafes and tearooms serving Devon Cream Teas. There are spectacular sea views across Lyme Bay, along the Jurassic Coast towards Dorset as well as the famous Babbacombe Cliff Railway, Babbacombe Theatre, Babbacombe Model Village and at nearby St Marychurch (1.1 miles) you’ll find Bygones Museum and a popular shopping district with independent shops. Babbacombe Beach and Oddicombe Beach (0.9 miles) are a pebble’s throw away and accessible on foot, and a great choice for top family-friendly facilities, paddle-boarding, kayaking and other adventure and fun water sports.
There is a regular bus service (no.22) from Babbacombe Road to Torquay Harbourside (2.3miles) and (no122) to Paignton (5.7 miles).
