About
The Devonshire is an ideal choice for a relaxing stay on the English Riviera. The hotel occupies a beautiful 1900's building set atop a hill overlooking the Tor Bay and the hotel gardens.
The hotel boasts an outdoor heated pool which is available in the summer (open May-Sept). While the peaceful lounges and garden terrace provide a choice of relaxing spaces to unwind after a days sightseeing.
You can enjoy a walk with a sea view down the hill to the town centre, but if you don't fancy the walk back up the hill, there is a regular bus service that stops at the hotel. There's also a Blue Flag beach just a 10 minute stroll away.
You can enjoy your delicious evening meal in our spacious restaurant - complete with an inviting atmosphere and beautiful views overlooking the gardens. At night, the room is transformed into our entertainment lounge, allowing you to enjoy the live performances without leaving your seat.
If the weather's nice, you can try your hand at golf on our fun putting green or simply sit back and relax on our peaceful lawns or sunny patio.
