Furzecroft sleeps up to 14 guests, with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 lounges, a kitchen and utility room. Both lounges feature sofa-beds. Downstairs, you’ll find a large kitchen diner, a snug lounge with balcony, a utility room or second kitchen, 2 bedrooms with a super king sized bed and a king sized bed, a luxury bathroom with jacuzzi bath and jet shower, and separate cloakroom.
Head upstairs and you’ll find the large master bedroom with en-suite, a large second lounge, a children’s bedroom and play room, and a family bathroom.
Outside, discover almost half an acre of private enchanted gardens, surrounded by mature trees and bordering Furzeham Quarry. The garden can cater for everyone’s needs with: a flat grassed area for seating space, table tennis and netball post; a secluded wildflower meadow, orchard and edible garden; a wildlife pond, woodland walkway and nature lookout point over the quarry, enclosed with a safety fence.
The garden adjoins the historic Furzeham Quarry, which was once mined for red ochre and the birthplace of the world’s first rust-prevention paint, but now lays disused since the mid-1800s. It has transformed into a safe space for the wildlife who frequently visit Furzecroft gardens including frogs, hedgehogs, dragonflies, songbirds and the occasional woodpecker and heron. At dusk, head out onto the balcony to watch the bats circle at eye level, and keep your ears open for the resident tawny owls – you’ll hear them before you see them!
Furzecroft truly is a home-from-home, and we look forward to welcoming you to relax and recharge on the English Riviera.

"Beautiful house and garden. We have stayed in Brixham several times and this was the best place we've stayed, really appreciated the large garden and driveway to park the car."
"What an amazing house and fabulous hosts. Such attention to detail with fresh flowers, cookies and milk in the fridge and a warm welcome from Angela. The house and garden is beautiful and a very short walk into Brixham. We visited all the local area either by foot or ferry and for further afield used our car. Angela and Mike were most welcoming and recommended places to eat and visit as well as useful information for the area. You will not be disappointed renting this house. Absolute gem in a beautiful area. Thank you 😊"
"What can I say but WOW, WOW, WOW, what an A-mazing house!!! The property is fantastic, spotlessly clean, modernly updated with 4 bedrooms and several sofa beds. A short walk away from the nearest local pub and meters away from a bustop! Two of the bedrooms are situated on the ground floor which was ideal for my ageing Mother and Aunties. Spacious kitchen readily equipped with everything you need, downstairs toilet/bathroom, living room, and second kitchen area. Upstairs are two further bedrooms including an en suite, toilet/bathroom and further living room all of which have sofa beds. Fantastic garden with a separate area which has a pond and a waterfall style water feature. Great games room (a brilliant touch which to be honest totally sold it for us) with flipstyle air hockey/pool table, table football, fridge and a fantastic sounding stereo system"
