About
Choosing a self-catering property gives you the freedom to come and go as you please without being restricted.
Located in the heart of Torquay
59 Rock Road is in the heart of Torquay, just 0.6 miles from Torquay town centre for shopping and with easy access to the pretty Royal Terrace Gardens, known locally as Rock Walk, and Princess Gardens, just a 2-minute walk away. Torquay’s attractive harbourside (1.3 miles) has plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes and takeaways, catering for all tastes and serving amazing world class dishes and exotic cocktails, if you fancy an evening out.
Modern self catering accommodation in Devon
59 Rock Road is a spacious, light and airy property with stylish and modern décor. There are four guest bedrooms as well as a separate apartment located on the ground floor which has a double bed and en-suite facilities. The entire property can sleep up to 9 people, so this is a great choice if you are planning a break away with a large group of friends or work colleagues or a holiday with the extended family.
It has four outdoor terrace areas with plenty of seating so you can soak up the very pleasant English Riviera climate and unrivalled sea views across the entire bay and towards Berry Head in Brixham (9.6 miles). There are 42 steps up to the main entrance which won’t phase you if you’re planning to walk the 22 miles of the English Riviera coastline which forms part of the South West Coast Path. Access to the property is available from 3pm on your arrival day and check out is 10am on the departure day.
Easy free parking
Parking is available outside the property for one vehicle so exploring South Devon by car is an easy and convenient option. Public transport services are excellent too with Torquay Train Station and Torre Train Station nearby (both 1.2 miles) and Torquay Coach Station in Lymington Road (1.4 miles), which has plenty of local taxi companies on hand.
The English Riviera consists of the three towns of Torquay, Paignton (3.4 miles) and Brixham (8.6 miles). Cockington Village and Cockington Country Park and Manor House (2.8 miles) is a charming, quintessentially English village not to be missed during your stay. With thatched roof cottages, horse-drawn carriages, rose-filled gardens, delicious Devon Cream Teas and an artisan craft centre, you’ll find plenty of photo opportunities.
Devon’s Beautiful Bay has everything to offer to create those lasting holiday memories so plan your visit to 59 Rock Road soon.
