About
Rutland Lodge is an early Victorian holiday home and is well positioned for easy access to the harbour, seafront, and the amenities of Wellswood Village.
Just a ten minutes walk away from the town centre and is conveniently located on the Babbacombe Road, directly up from the harbour-side and Marina, with off road parking and is the perfect choice for guests that enjoy the style of boutique hotels, but prefer the privacy and convenience that self-catering offers.
This beautiful period building has been extensively and lovingly restored and successfully marries the features and character of yester-year, with all the essential conveniences of today. It is within the Warberries conservation area with the ambience of the French Riviera.
The property's five elegant bedrooms benefit from en suite bathrooms and luxury fixtures and fittings; and there is a lovely lounge with high ceiling, open fire place and plenty of comfortable seating for all.
Torquay is located in the heart of the English Riviera famed for its mild climate and clear waters with a mild south-facing aspect and miles of sandy beaches. The harbour, with its large marina, palm trees and subtropical gardens, elegant Georgian terraces, plus a myriad of bars and restaurants remains the most attractive area.
Torquay is well served with rail links to the major cities, the newly opened South Devon Link Road giving speedy access to the M5 motorway and airport at the Cathedral City of Exeter.
