About
Introduction to the Torbay Hotel, Torquay
Stay on the spectacular English Riviera just across the road from the Pavillion Theatre and Torquay Marina
Relax on the hotel’s sun terrace or at either of its two bars, café and snack bar.
The Torbay Hotel has 111 bedrooms and a ballroom suitable for up to 200 people, so bring your dancing shoes.
The hotel’s location is perfect for visiting some of Devon’s finest attractions, there is plenty to choose from.
The Bay Torbay hotel sits amid swaying palms and golden sands at the heart of the English Riviera in the beautiful town of Torquay.
Set on the seafront just across the road from the Princess Theatre, with the South West Coast Path passing very close to the hotel. Fleet Street starts just behind the hotel and has a number of shops and cafes to enjoy.
From Torquay it is just a short journey by both car and public transport to the best natural sights that Devon has to offer. Dartmoor is about an hour away where you can enjoy great walks along beautiful trails amid fantastic heather moorland. Or head south along the coast to the pretty towns such as Paignton and Dartmouth.
In the hotel you can relax on a lovely sun terrace or grab some food and drinks from one of the two bars or snack bar and the café. We offer standard, standard plus, superior and premier rooms which you can select to upgrade to for even greater space and comfort during your stay.
Local transport is very good. We are on a local bus route where the buses are every twelve minutes and the train station is a level fifteen walk away.
Across from us is the harbour, where the ferry will take you across to Brixham or Dartmouth, enjoy the stunning views of the English Riviera Bay.
