About
Tusker Lodge is a small family run guest house, offering guests a friendly and informal atmosphere. The guest house is in a superb location, with a pretty south east facing sun-terrace, overlooking Torwood Gardens, and is only 400 meters from the harbour, the strand, shops and The Princess Theatre, and close to the beach and seafront. Within walking distance is the coastal path, which leads to Beacon Cove, Meadfoot, Hope Cove, Ansteys Cove, Babbacombe Beach and Oddicombe Beach. The Natural History Museum is almost adjacent to the hotel and Torbay’s famous Model Village is at the other end of Babbacombe Road, just a short bus ride away.
Offering:
Single, Double and Family rooms / En-suite rooms with complimentary toiletries / Parking available / Free Wi-Fi access throughout / All rooms centrally heated / Freeview TV in all rooms / Complimentary Tea & Coffee making facilities and bottled water / Alarm clock radios / Special Dietary requirements catered for / Room only or B&B / Daily Housekeeping / 24 Hour Access / Credit Cards accepted – no fee.
We welcome well behaved dogs at Tusker Lodge.
One small/medium sized dog is allowed per room (size guide: max 20kgs).
Please be advised that we have two dogs and therefore guest’s dogs must be kept on a lead at all times in common areas of the Guest House. Dogs are not allowed on beds or other furniture, should not be left unattended in rooms under any circumstances.
We may ask that you come to breakfast slightly later or earlier than normal breakfast times if we are busy.
We generally charge a one off fee per stay (fee dependant on the length of stay but starts at £10 for 1-5 nights) to cover cleaning costs, this may increase if the room requires more time. We also ask that you dispose of your pets waste (yes, you’d be surprised!) off the premises in dog litter bins which are across the road in the park.
We do not accept any pets other than dogs.
