Once you’ve got the hang of standing on your board – some say it’s easier than kayaking - you can relax and explore the stunning coast to your heart’s content (and it will be content!). Take a lesson and learn the basics then hire a wetsuit and board and you’re off. See the stunning coast and wildlife at sea-level and explore. The jaw-dropping geology of the coastline tells a 400-million-year-old story!

Whilst away from home and the everyday grind take the time to learn a new skill or deepen your knowledge. Learning experiences are everywhere. Explore heritage at Torquay or Brixham Museum, visit Torre Abbey, a scheduled ancient monument with a staggering 800 years of history or head out to Greenway House & Gardens and learn about Agatha Christie and her life. Look out for events and activities to come along to, there’s always something going on, whether a hands-on breadmaking course at Occombe Farm or a lecture or a tour at one of our museums.
