About
The Seven Dials cafe has been recently refurbished with a new, contemporary look.
We pride ourselves on offering homemade food and our cakes and scones are made fresh each day. We actively seek local producers and suppliers for our food and drink offer.
The Seven Dials caters for all. We have vegetarian and vegan options, and we are a dog friendly cafe.
Take a look at our seasonal menu.
Open daily from 10am - 4:30pm
Situated within the old library and drawing room of Cockington's historic and magnificent Grade II listed manor house, you'll find our traditional tea room. Open all year from 10 am, we offer a warm welcome to customers and their dogs, whatever the weather. On a sunny day, you can opt to sit on the beautiful outdoor terrace and during the winter months guests can keep warm and cosy within the delightful indoor setting.
Everything on our mouth-watering menu is made on site, with ingredients from our very own walled art garden where possible. Try our choice of scones, which form part of a wonderful Cockington cream tea or a light lunch of freshly made sandwiches and soups. Dietary requirements are also catered for with specially baked gluten free cake. Jams, marmalades, chutneys and pickles (all gluten free) are made here too and can be purchased along with our famous Cockington Honey made from our very own bees in the walled art garden.
So whether you are looking to indulge in a morning coffee, a light lunch or afternoon tea, it can all be enjoyed in this magnificent setting.
Cockington Court is one of Torbay's favourite destinations, combining history with present day through a thriving craft centre and a popular programme of events. The site enjoys a growing reputation as a regional centre for quality arts and crafts.
Set in an award-winning country park a mile away from the seafront, Cockington Court is an historic manor house with over twenty craft studios, tea rooms, walled art garden, tudor rose garden, contemporary art gallery and a popular children’s play area.
Cockington Court is managed by TDA as a craft centre, visitor attraction and creative business space. The country park itself, Cockington Country Park, is managed by Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust.
