This very famous fast food chain has been delighting UK customers since opening its first restaurant in the 1970’s. In a convenient town centre location, everyone’s favourite saver and happy meals, cheeseburgers, shakes and mayo chicken are on the menu. Delivery service also available.

McDonald’s opened its first restaurant in the UK in 1974.  It is still there today in Woolwich, London.  There are now 1,200 restaurants across the UK and Northern Ireland.

100% British & Irish Beef

From time to time we hear some funny stories about how we make our burgers. But the truth is really very simple. Butchers prepare cuts of beef that come from the forequarter and flank, which are minced, shaped into our famous patties and then frozen. From farm to restaurant, nothing else is added – it’s just 100% beef.

We're proud to work with over 16,000 British and Irish farmers who supply the beef on our UK menu and we think you'd approve of them too. They look after their animals and are all approved by a nationally recognised farm assurance scheme, such as Red Tractor.

Simply Delicious

All our restaurant teams know how to make a great tasting burger, too. Instead of adding oil, they simply place the patty between two hotplates where both sides cook at the same time. A pinch of salt and pepper later, and you're looking at one delicious burger.
