About
A country pub near in Cockington oozing rural charm and rustic character.
Dating back to 1936 The Drum's claim to fame is its architect; the world famous Sir Edwin Lutyens (www.lutyenstrust.org.uk). Lutyens designed the pub as the focal point of the village and today his beautiful vision retains all its traditional charm thanks to a recent million pound restoration project that replaced its thatched roof, restored its beautiful gardens and made the most of its superb views.
A country pub near you oozing rural charm and rustic character, our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar. Soak up the sun in our pub beer garden, with plenty of seating, shaded tables and outdoor dining available.
Whether you are planning dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, book a table online and enjoy some quality time with those you love the most. Arriving by car? You’ll find ample car parking space right outside our Torquay pub and restaurant.
