New for 2021, this bistro has undoubtedly one of the best sea-views in South Devon.

Located right in the middle of the bay, at the Channel View Boutique Hotel in Preston, diners at the upper deck bistro have stunning, panoramic, uninterrupted views right across Torbay.  With tables both inside and out, this is an ideal venue to enjoy fresh, local produce whatever the weather.

Owners Ruth and Peter are passionate about great food, and together with their lovely team have created a relaxed, modern environment to catch up with friends for lunch, or enjoy a romantic a la carte dinner for two – especially as the bistro is just for grown-ups!

Our very talented Head Chef designs new menus every month, to take advantage of the wealth of fish and seafood delivered daily from the local fish market, as well as award-winning meat and seasonal produce from local South Devon farms.

The bar stocks a extensive range of great local beers, ciders and spirits. Our wine list has some great versions of the classics, and some quirky suggestions for those who are looking to try something new. The crew are all trained to help you identify the perfect wine for your choices in food, or just for enjoying while you watch the sun go down and listen to the waves.

We have crisp white table cloths and napkins inside, tableside heaters and blankets outside; all tables are safely spaced apart to keep our visitors safe; there are fresh flowers or a candle lit lantern on every table, all helping to show that every little detail has been thought about aiming to give you the best possible experience and memories.
