The multi million pound world class centre for young people offers a wide range of high quality activities and support services for locals and visitors. It specialises in adventurous activities and performing arts on a prime beach front location next to Paignton's family friendly seafront.

Designed by young people for young people, Parkfield Paignton is packed full of fantastic facilities including skate and BMX parks, superb climbing walls, a media suite, sports hall and theatre as well as a chill out zone. It also hosts extreme sports competitions, youth events, exhibitions and music festivals.

And it's not just the young that can join in the fun families and adults can experience the excitement too!

BMX - Torbay BMX Club is based at Parkfield and runs the track.

Skate Park - The skate park at Parkfield is still open to young people and is free to use.

Young People's Services - The Youth Service, under Torbay Youth Trust, are now running Group work sessions at Parkfield's Hub and in other Community venues.

Climbing Wall - Reach Outdoors manage the wall. Parkfield is an indoor climbing wall in Paignton with 18 ropes for both top-roping and leading with over 60 climbing routes. Though I am not a skate boarding person myself, the electric powered skate boards look like fun, many of the keen skate boarders spend hours perfecting their turns, skate board tricks..  Parkfield has lots of facilities to promote your future skills positively, indoors, outdoors..
International competitors bring in the crowds with skate board skills that have taken years to perfect..

My son spends most of his summer weekends here. There's a mix of kids and young adults using the skate park. Everyone seems to get along. Smaller kids would find this park a bit much. I'd say 7+ years.

Used the climbing wall. Really enjoyed it
